A short walk to the end of my street today, changed my morning plans!
Went down to the edge of the lake to find a whole mess of styrofoam and other trash that had washed up from the waves and winds from the lake. I could not believe the amount of trash and the fact that no one else that walked my street including two people that came up while I was picking all this up for two hours did not one thing nor said one thing about it! I am not posting this for anyone to congratulate me for doing the right thing. I’m posting this to show Everyone that we all need to do our part to be mindful of how we put out our trash and never be too proud to pick up trash when you were on the ground because more than likely the next person will not do it! It was not what I had in mind but two hours well spent trying to do my part to clean this earth up. I hope that one day people will learn that this earth and its resources will expire if we continue down the track that we have now. The earth itself has given us a clear warning and signs of what damage has been done to her over the last 50 years and it also showed us with some drastic measures and changes that it can recoup and heal in a very short period of time! Look around the world or right in front of you, we can all do something!

For those that read this thanks and don’t be afraid to share it, everyone needs to know!
