Mr. Muskie Charters operates our Walleye trips on the Detroit & St. Clair Rivers, which are the main tributaries of Lake St. Clair. The rivers are the life blood and throughway for all the fish to travel between the great lakes.
The Detroit River holds more Walleye in the spring than any other place in the country. Over 6 million Walleye enter the system as they make their way up the Detroit river for their spring spawning.
We operate on the Detroit River from Sindbad’s Marina and restaurant, which is in the heart of the best fishing grounds, located just outside of downtown Detroit.
We target the Walleye as they travel the Detroit River by vertical jigging out of our smaller boats. We will help to teach or refine your skills to make it a successful trip.
When we return from our charter, we will clean your catch so that you can take them home or enjoy a fresh lunch or dinner at Sindbad’s restaurant inside the marina. They do the best job in the catch and cook program!

5 hour Walleye Charter- $600 (up to 4 people)
*5th person can be added for an additional $100
Complimentary cleaning/filleting of your Walleye is included so you can head right up to Sinbad’s Restaurant to enjoy your fresh catch!

$300 deposit is required to secure your reservation. A 14 day advanced notice is required to change or cancel your charter, if it is less than 14 days you will forfeit your deposit. If you do not show up for your charter you will be charged the full balance due. Charters cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, and at the call of your Capitan will be rescheduled. If weather conditions are deemed safe and you choose to cancel, you will forfeit your deposit. 20% gratuity is customary for the crew, but not included in the above charter rates. Corporate outings & multi – boat charters available.
The additional $100 fuel surcharge will remain in effect for our 2023 season. The fuel surcharge is NOT included in the above rates.
