We have been fishing Bass and Muskie's since the start of June and the action has heated up along with the Summer weather.
The Small Mouth Bass fishing started out a bit slower in numbers but has been pretty good throughout the summer months and we have boated many trophy class Bass! We fished the shallows in the spring months and early summer, getting good results with numbers of bass caught. We fish the deeper waters for the Bass during the summer months which sometimes will produce lower numbers but larger, trophy class Smallies!
Muskie fishing this year has been excellent considering all of the challenges.
We have had both days with lower numbers and many that have had great numbers as well as great quality Muskies and quite a few trophy class monster Muskie's too!
The high water and colder start to the summer made it more of a challenge to track down the Muskie but once we found them in a few of our favorite fishing spots, it was game on!
We have had some great numbers of fish caught and have also boated many bonus Pike, Walleye and Bass while on the hunt for the Muskie's, which is great for some added action.
We have 4 new members that joined our 30LB club in the past month or so and want to congratulate them again on their great catches!
Fall is just around the corner and with that we will phase into our Fall portion of the season. We will continue to fish for Muskie through the start of Nov. and they will be fattening up for winter before too long.
We will also be starting our Sturgeon trip at the start of September. We have been getting some good reports that the Sturgeon have been biting pretty good and we are excited to get our clients out to battle these fresh water dinosaurs!
If you haven't set up your Fall trips yet now is the time as we are currently booking the rest of the season and there is limited availability.
